This is the correct color for an F40.

But is it bad that I’d rather have a black NSX? Looking at the two side by side, I know which I’d rather.

It’s also the original black F40, Ferrari of Japan painted black by the original owners request. Then Gas Monkey Garage did theirs making two Black F40s that exist. This one is high mileage for a F40,   aftermarket magnesium wheels, larger Brembo brakes, adjustable Koni’s, more boost, Tubi open exhaust, 5 point race harness. Then the guy who owns this has a low mileage Red Ferrari certified F40. Think of this black one as his beater F40.

This F40 so much aftermarket bits it does not matter. The paint is not perfect, higher miles for a F40. It’s a driver.

Maybe I’m going to get attacked for this, but I’ve always thought that the standard headlights make the F40 look kind of drowsy, and downright dorky when the pop-ups are popped up. Give me an LM any day of the week - more menacing and appropriately agressive.

The LM lights looks better. But i n most countries there exists a regulation for the minimum height for the headlights. The regular F40 and the 911 Slant nose headlights were dorky looking to meet this requirement. If you are just racing or living in some country that doesn’t have this limitation this of course doesn’t matter.
